When I moved to Xalapa, Veracruz, I was immersed in an atmosphere of rain, mist, and the deep melancholy that comes with it.

This environment created a mosaic of emotions within me, like soundtracks that lingered in my mind. Inspired by these feelings, I decided to put them onto paper, translating them into music.

And what better instrument than the marimba—a wooden instrument with the unique ability to convey both the fluidity of melancholy and the strength of resilience.
