Cinema (string trio)

It is the first “big piece” that I wrote as request from my composition teacher Win Hendrickx for instruments that were not percussion.

I’m very happy with the result and eventough it is still not recorded, it sounds in my mind as sonorous movie.

It was written on 2005 and premiered in 2006 by:

Description

The piece is conceived as a movie where the sounds are deploying horizontally, going forward, it explores the flageolet, bow and picking techniques and moves from atmospheric to very rhythmic and precise.
